Panama’s interior is a spectacular mixture of mountain towns and beautiful land. The interior is the provinces, cities, and towns that are outside of the capital. Many Panamanians and Foreigners living in Panama City travel by plane (45 minutes) or drive (6 hours) to the getaways such as Boquete and Volcan in Chiriqui. These towns offer quaint hotels, restaurants, and a relaxing lifestyle which attract many people for retirement living. 

The Mountain towns near Panama City are starting to take off in tourism and development. There are some great investment opportunities in these tranquil towns that are great for retirees who want to be close to Panama City and the Pacific Beaches.
