Top 5 of the Tallest Buildings in Panama

The buildings in Panama never imagined being branded as “skyscrapers”. Skyscrapers in Panama are on the list of the 200 highest buildings in the world. In this blog we will take a look at the tallest buildings in Panama City. 

Beginning in the early 2000s, the city experienced a large construction boom, with new buildings in Panama rising up all over the city. 

Most of the skyscrapers in Panama are located in areas facing the Pacific, such as Avenida Balboa, Costa del Este and Punta Pacifica.

1.   Trump Ocean Club 

Trump Tower was built on Punta Pacifica in 2011. For a time was the highest building in Latin America, with its 284 meters high and 70 floors. Offers spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and the city, high end amenities and a wonderful oceanfront location close to local attractions, corporate business areas and the airport.

2. Star Bay Tower

Is located off the coastal strip in Avenida Balboa. It measures 267 meters, was built in 2013, with 68 floors and has a beautiful stained glass windows. This building has a privileged location, in the commercial and banking center of the city, at the intersection of Avenida Balboa and Aquilino de la Guardia. Luxurious offices with facilities of a 5 star hotel.

3. Yoo & Arts Tower 

Yoo Panama is located on Avenida Balboa with 78-floors of mixed-use, embedded in 246 meters. Is an iconic 60 story building with loft style apartments and penthouses offering spectacular ocean front and city views. 


4. The Point

The Point is a  67 residential floors with 266 meters high , built in Paitilla, facing the Panama Bay, in 2010. The high-end luxurious building enjoys the best location in the city of Panama. Due to its prime location and height, The Point is visible from almost any point in the city.

5. Rivage

Rivage is a residential tower built in 2011, rises up to 233.2 meters. Located directly on the Pacific Ocean in the Avenida Balboa district of Panama City. The tower is 68 floors with spectacular views of Panama Bay, Casco Viejo (old town), Las Perlas Islands, Amador Causeway and spectacular skyline of Punta Pacifica.
